THANK YOU so much to Emily Greenwell who is a student at Transylvania University. Emily watched a TLC documentary on Progeria and was so touched that she decided she wanted to help. On May 21, 2010, Transylvania began a Health Lecture series and the first topic discussed was Progeria. A bio-Chemist from the University of Kentucky gave a very interesting presentation and Zach was also on hand to meet the students who attended. Thank you Emily so much for being interested in Progeria and wanting to help find a cure!

We'd like to give a special thank you to Justin Moses (a new friend from Portrait Innovations). Justin met Zach and we shared one of Zach's business cards with him and encouraged him to visit the website and learn more about Progeria. Not only did Justin do just that, he also decided he wanted to redesign our business card and it is AWESOME, very professional and really looks great! Our family would like to thank Ed & Vicky Hasty for the countless hours they put into the Lightning Bugg raffle. You have blessed our family in a tremendous way, and we are very thankful! Zach has touched so many people and we are so happy that we have met you!
Today, The Wall Street Journal reports on a landmark study, led by PRFâs Medical Director, that demonstrates the Progeria-causing protein Progerin increases in everyone as we age, suggesting a possible new risk factor for heart disease.
